The Chairman of the Board H.E the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain visits the headquarters of the Gulf Payments Company

His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, Chairman of the Board of the Gulf Payments Company, Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, visited the company headquarter in Riyadh on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

His Excellency met with the executive management and managers of departments and discussed key business developments especially in regard to the operation of the Gulf payment system (AFAQ). He also toured the company’s departments, and praised the efforts made to achieve the company’s vision and objectives.

It is worth mentioning that the company has launched the first phase of operating the Gulf payment system (AFAQ), in which the Central Bank of Bahrain and the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia joined, in addition to a number of commercial banks from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
